What’s the Difference Between a Point of Interest and a Place of Interest?
As far as I’m concerned, a point of interest is the same thing as a place of interest. Sure, there may be a technical distinction between the two. But so what. Most people use the expressions interchangeably. So for our purposes, a point of interest and a place of interest, are the same thing.
Also, since it’s always nice to go to a hiker friendly bar or restaurant after a hike, that gets it’s own category.
Since, points of interest can include places, businesses, transit stations, mountains and parks, that pretty much covers any place you’d want to go. And after I check a point of interest out, you’re likely to see it feature here. Cheers!
